What the name Assiere means

I get a lot of people asking me “How did you come up with the name Assiere and what does it mean?”.

It’s a good question and one that I came up with out of the blue, after scrolling through thesauruses and dictionaries like a mad women when trying to think of an appropriate business name that didn’t contain bra, lingerie, intimate and so forth.

Upon looking for something different, I kept coming back to the work brassiere; a french word created in the early 1900′s that in recent times has been shortened to bra.

Assiere was born from my attraction to the word brassiere and the history that it has created since its inception.

Assiere is in fact br(assiere) without the Br.

Making up a word from scratch took a lot of thought and consideration! But I’m happy with the end result and love that in creating the new word I’m able to give the word it’s own meaning.

Means: A feeling derived from the confidence a women achieves by wearing seductive intimates.
